Frequently asked questions

Answers, before you call.

Quick answers about our services, coverage and credentials. Can’t find what you need? Call +603-4821 2904.

What services does Alam Aman Services provide?

Alam Aman Services (M) Sdn Bhd provides commercial cleaning, plumbing, grease trap supply, installation and maintenance, bio enzyme treatment for grease traps, electrical works, and renovation and structural make-overs. We also handle building maintenance, waste water treatment and solar technologies for residential, commercial and industrial buildings.

Which areas do you serve?

We serve Kuala Lumpur and Selangor across the Klang Valley. Our office is at No. 14, Jalan Kabus, Kampung Baru Ulu Kelang, 68000 Ampang, Selangor.

Is Alam Aman Services a CIDB-registered contractor?

Yes. We are registered with CIDB Malaysia under licence 0120120614-WP143424, Grade G3, Categories B04 and CE21. We also hold SPAN licence SPAN/EKS/(PT)/800-2C-c-13-768.

Do you offer 24-hour plumbing services?

Yes. Our plumbing team offers a 24-hour service with quick response for blockages, leaks, burst pipes and drainage problems in commercial and residential buildings.

Why does my restaurant need a grease trap?

A grease trap stops fats, oils and grease (FOG) from entering the sewer lines. Local authorities in Malaysia require one in every food outlet, restaurant, cafeteria, catering establishment and commercial kitchen.

How often should a grease trap be cleaned?

It depends on the type of food you serve and how busy your business is. Regular cleaning keeps the trap working properly and prevents costly back-ups. We assess your kitchen and recommend a schedule, carried out by our vacuum truck fleet.

What size of grease trap do I need?

We supply grease traps for kitchens serving from 10 to 5,000 meals per day, including domestic, commercial, underground and filter trap designs, along with dosing systems.

What is bio enzyme treatment for grease traps?

Bio enzyme treatment uses biological products to break down grease cake and sludge. It reduces bad odour, blockages and overflow, lowers the manpower needed for periodic cleaning, and helps keep cockroaches and rats out of the kitchen.

What types of premises do you clean?

We clean public and commercial buildings, offices, banks, shopping malls, showrooms, workshops, schools, factories and events, using floor scrubbers, carpet extraction machines and water-fed pole window cleaning systems.
